I loved that, too, but I think it's just because I also have a 4 year old daughter…

Bravo, sir!

Rule 9 should be called the Russell Hantz rule. I never until now understood why he didn't win his first season. He was absolutely subjectively the best player, and I thought at least some of the jury would have understood that. But Linda's rules sum up perfectly why the final vote is such a personal and subjective

"I felt so bad for Brandon, and I really had it out for him all season —
I hate that his family is being so hard on him. At least he gave it a
shot, and made it pretty far to boot."

See my response to hulud above, but I think Coach really screwed the pooch when he neglected to send Sophie home (and didn't play the idol) at final five. Then again, that would have almost guaranteed Ozzy final immunity, and Coach still would have lost, but I don't think he knew that when he back-stabbed Rick.

Probably a good thing you didn't watch. In addition to the poor treatment of Cochran, Whitney and Keith were truly vomit-inducing, especially when you consider her "secret marriage."  Gleh.

I think the game was Coach's to win until the last *three* tribals, and that's where he lost it:

Ah, could be and that would make more sense. I'll have to re-watch that bit when it's posted on CBS.

I'm glad the finale somewhat vindicated the awfulness of this season; that was a great two hours of TV right there.
