Gipi Omission
I dont think anyone will care, considering he's an obscure Italian cartoonist and that no one has mentioned him after 580 comments, but I really feel that Gipi was one of the best new talents to come out of the decade. 'Notes for a War Story' was the most under-rated comic in the last five years; an

If you like Terry Moore, be sure to read Love and Rockets instead. Its really better.

I thought that SHORTCOMINGS was one of Tomine's most accomplished works, in terms of character development, storytelling, and originality. However, thats not necessarily saying a great deal, since I've never been a big fan of his, thogh I could appreciate SHORTCOMINGS.

What, No Santana?
Seriously, the first thing I thought of was "Oye Como Va". You guys got a problem with the "Mu-la-tas"?

From Remote Control To Mind Of Mencia
Thats the worst story of celebrity downward spiraling that I've ever heard.

And thanks to Modell for remembering that Andrew WK is actually quite fun to listen to.

THANK YOU HELLER
By far one of my favorite music reviewers on AVC or anywhere. Always dig whatever you offer and thank Jeebus SOMEONE has come through with Fucked Up on a list!
I'd also add Mika Miko, but thats just me.

Fugazi: the Arguement

"Best" Commentary Tracks Ever. Man, I suck!

Man, I forgot about Ted Leo and the Pharmicists. That was a good album.

This has been a much more interesting year for metal than a lot of this hipster rock that sounds the same. I'm hardly a metal head, but I'd take most of the Metalbox list over this one.

ssbxvm- Dont fret, its a rather lousy list for a rather lousy decade. I'd recomend picking up Fugazi and Outkast and thats about it for this list.

Wow, really surprised that Fucked Up got left off this list. I mean, didnt AVC rate Chemistry of Common Life near the very best of music last year? It seems like the band that has revolutionized hardcore music, the way that Refused did last decade, deserve to be on the 50 Best of the Decade list, right?
And though I

Yeah, that "corn bread" remark gave me the impression that Sean thought the comedy in this episode was racist, or that at least that any attempt at ironic racist humor that falls short of funny is automatically offensive. Personally, I thought Cartman was pretty damn funny in his bluntness, and I got that this episode

EDII gets it for Ash fighting his own hand. Some of the best physical comedy committed to celluloid.

My hand went bad, so I had to cut it off (AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!)

Besy Commentay Tracks Ever
At a certain point, like with my Simpsons DVDs, it so I couldnt watch this, or any of the other Evil Dead movies, without the commentary tracks on. They pure entertainment, so self-deprecating and funny, and they provide so much practicle knowledge on how to construct your own low-budget

Good list Craig J. Clark, those are al directors who deserve two or three entries in NCC. I'd just say that I prefer Down By Law to Ghost Dog; for one obvious reason, and also because its maybe the only movie to really capture the atmosphere of New Orleans without resorting to any tired shots of Bourbon Street.

Nah, I prefer the studio ending. I think its much more in keeping with the overall tone of the movie. It'd be like if Kevin Smith got his first choice to kill Dante at the end of Clerks. Ash is the hero, and we're waiting for that big pay-off.

Wel, maybe I didnt say every little syllable, no, but it was close enough.
