No ones seen those new episodes. I thought it was canceled already.

Dont worry Kyle, you didnt forget. Family Guy was never funny.

Hand Drawn DVD Covers
I think a general rule of thumb should be that any movie in which the DVD cover art or promotional posters features some form of black and white, simple-line, hand drawing have a very good possibility of being MPDG, or at least some other form of insufferable indie cutness.

Foutain was really the low point, but it was such an ambitious, glorious disaster that I think it deserves respect.

You can say the same thing about the Simpsons, ricin. Huge gap between the best and the worst, if only because the best were so good.

At least when Lovitz interupts, its usually funny and usually to call someone gay.
@Elitist- As for Groening; the purest Groening humor is in hs 'Life in Hell' comics, which is mostly one-off kinda jokes. Its funny, buts its hardly the funniest thing in comics. What Groening is really good at is assembling really

Hey, since when was Roseanne a bad show? I admit, it feel apart in the last couple of seasons, as almost every show does, but during its hey-day it was one of the best sitcoms on television. It depicted the way that real people lived their lives in most of America, and did so with a sly sense satire directed against

Thanks for the Conan correction Elitist, my bad. But what about how Groening CONSTANTLY complains about pupil size? He's gotta give it a rest. He gets credit for creating the the series, but people have to realize that most of the best episodes were'nt written by him.

Sorry, but Seinfeld still gets a pass even after 'Bee Movie'. He was that fucking great in his prime.

I have to agree with this one. Nothing that he has produced since Soundgarden has been of any value, and frankly I'm sick of listening to Superunknown. I suppose that if I was not burnt out on Soundgarden years ago, I would still enjoy it.

Man, this is a tough one. There is little arguement that season 5 and 6 were some of the best Simpsons, especially for the fact of Conan's writer but also everybody was on their A game. But Merkin really does come across as an asshole on the commentary. His snide sarcasm is funny ONCE, then he just becomes predictable

"Ass" as in "burro" or "ass" as in "culo"?

You mean its Futbol

I first becane aware of Dane Cook on some special where he was doing a bit about Alien. I remember back then thinking that he seemed pretty funny. I think that he just became very absorbed in his frat-boy character that there is no seperating the two anymore, as Tobias points out. Or perhaps thats just the real guy

If you imagine it, then it becomes real.

Eisenhower
Thanks to Conan, any image of Eisenhower in uniform always makes me laugh.

All in favor…
EYE!!!!

"Waiting" was an incompetantly produced and directed piece of drek, but there was a small, infant-moneky-sized handful of mildly amusing moments, of which Cook actually managed to make me chuckle. Like Mr. Rabin said above, he tends to be nearly enjoyable in small roles.

The sarcasm was smeared on pretty thick, aeonopolis.

@Bucky- To say that the US "chose" the USSR to be their enemy is a bit simplistic. Fact is, the USSR had an antogonistic relationship with virtually every country since 1917. They had an ideology which was fundamentally contrary to Western capitalism, take from that what you will, which left them isolated. Remember
