Oh, that wasn't a I POSTED ABOUT BOOKS FIRST thing; just didn't feel like writing it. Tenth of December is the only thing of his I've read so far, and it's pretty accessible. Not really read enough to say much one way or the other, but I enjoyed the first short story quite a bit.

Finished Gravity's Rainbow (loved it, possibly the best thing I've ever read, decided I'm going to reread it again after reading all of Pynchon's other works in order—alternating with a non-Pynchon novel).

I'm still pretty sure Cage 3 is the entire key to the book, but no, you're not too stupid to read it. It's really not that hard of a book; it just takes awhile for it to all come together.
