[terrorist fist bump]
Yup. People always mention it digging itself into a hole in those seasons, and maybe it did conceptually, but I thought parts of 3 and 4/5 were firing on all cylinders.
I don't mind the main season, though it has it's issues. All the sideways stuff was sort of for naught, but they could have definitely left it the same and wrapped it up differently. The church scene was a turd, but goddamn was the on-island stuff cathartic.

Basically. You also have to make your pilgrimage to the birthplace of ZMF though, too.
It's always funny to come back to these threads and see the people who have commented from the future.
@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus I actually had no idea that part of the thread existed until just now. Reading it has actually been kind of illuminating.
See @avclub-131799f66a96ee034181e8a54b4c0b49:disqus 's thread above, I think.
@avclub-7f1909495ef590046fdc4f001d246606:disqus His one comment makes him seem legit: http://www.avclub.com/artic…
@avclub-b31378bbfb701dc33efdb269aa01e844:disqus Ha, fuck! I should have hit refresh, but was too busy looking for that wink.
@avclub-bde03a31feb6259716046ea17db6e426:disqus Ah okay. I only read it occasionally so I didn't know. Somehow, Facebook comments always seem to be the worst when you would think—and I think this is the idea behind them—people using their real names would force them to elevate the conversation.
@DrMedicine:disqus Noooooooooo. Don't say that!
I've been here all along. Waiting.
@avclub-bde03a31feb6259716046ea17db6e426:disqus Does Grantland have comments?
So can I blame For Our Consideration?
GOD FUCKING DAMN WOLF'S RAIN.
@avclub-21a8615938a206d4311a58a53ad8890e:disqus You'll end up with kiddy porn in your cache as @avclub-0edf30a984c91fe16daa1a9d45f2e08f:disqus says and then a whole lot of people rationalizing it as "OK" because they're just wired that way and it's not like they're doing it to actual kids which is somehow even…
@avclub-1982161d0fe636d1caabd47a2ac23e12:disqus I don't have the exact number, and I don't really know if people voted with their gimmicks or not—if it was a user, I allowed it—but the range of votes were around 800 to 1600.
