RIP Mike. The highest angle shot in this scene, as they met, foreshadowed his inevitable demise and I literally said out loud, and I don't think I've done this, "no, no, no…." Blues Brothers is an outlier in this data set. Its obviously the best SNL related movie of all time but not borne out of the post Wayne's World rush to market SNL characters via hollywood films. Its also early 80's and John Landis, and as such, kind of in a different category in that sense as well. Just my opinions.

Might be controversial here, but I'd rank Coneheads the # 3 SNL movie after the Wayne's Worlds. As I mention below, it wasn't great but had its moments. There is a steep dive in solid comedy from Coneheads to say, Leon Phelps, Stuart Smalley, Superstar or any other of the god-awful late 90 /early 2000's SNL dreck.

Forgot to mention "Stuart Smalley Saves the World." I'd trade that out for Coneheads in the pantheon of shitty SNL 90's movies. Sure, Coneheads was bad but it had its moments. Its watchable and there's a good Farley performance in there. From what I can remember Stuart Smalley was supposed to be a comedy but it came

As stupid as everyone thinks this family is, they are the ones racking in the cash, however short lived this endeavor may be. I don't hate them for it or otherwise look down on them. I enjoy the car wreck and let it play out. Plus, there is nothing on anyway except the Olympics so one more thing to waste time on

Yes, great points on Supes II. I never got the sheet of cellophane thing. I mean, what was going through the writer's minds?

Benedict Cumberbatch or whatever his name is. Seems to be the go-to guy for crazy voice overs.
