Agreed, the notion that the series has telegraphed a happy ending for Dexter isn't really supported by the fact that, here in episode 5 of 12, things appear to be calm. That's like saying everything will end well for Tony Soprano because he's gathered with family for a quiet Christmas moment at the end of Season 6…
