as someone who, sometimes regrettably, watches this show religiously - this episode was one of the better i have seen this season. well put together throughout. i look forward to many more mike o'brien shorts, they should just alternate every other week with an o'brien piece and a beck/kyle one. at least something

you're thinking of Hanksy — he fucking rules!

the simpsons piece was pretty "anti-simpsons" in the same way that the rage against the machine song "no shelter" that was featured on the Godzilla Soundtrack, was pretty "anti-cinema" — i think in both cases the popularity of the artist overrides the message. which is a good thing, cause otherwise there is no fucking

i definitely don't understand why his "Border Trilogy" gets so much love. i couldn't get into any of those three. The Road is great, but so is Sutree and Blood Meridian. i read No Country for Old Men and thought, "that feels like a crazy tense movie", and years later the Coen's proved it to be. i thought it was a

oh yeah, the mars volta pick there is spot on.

welp, you were right about your opinions.

books
Jonathan Franzen: i loved the corrections but couldn't get into freedom at all, plus everytime i read his non-fiction or see him interviewed he comes off as such a dick.

i completely agree with this, i have said for awhile now that mooney would be great. he would be like norm with his amazing ability to come of as not giving one flying fuck, and i always loved that deadpan delivery. i know a lot of people hated on norm for that and would definitely hate on kyle, but i think it would

i agree with mr. perkins on nearly everything said in this review, except for the grade. this episode was just awful. i am happy to see almost everyone on board the oust jost train. that guy is awful — surely beck or kyle could outdo that clown — this new che guy is good though. not nearly enough mckinnon or bobby,

i always thought he said, "i can play the guitar like a motherfucking Vai".
which would've been a better lyric..god damn i wish that dude wasn't dead so i could tell him how my misheard lyric all these years could have saved him this future humiliation at the hands of some comic we're all mostly unfamiliar with!

sorry for a serious question, but is the hidden pre-track before the first song available on the digital version or only the CD??

uncle jack is back! had so many great lines too. one of my favorite fringe characters on the show. and frank constantly trying to shut him up, good stuff.

this was the funniest, killed me. what a great episode it was. and how about them sunny bumpers huh? gonna change the god damned ever loving world we live in, the new season of that show will.

from what i could gather from the snl twitter account that was live tweeting the episode, it seems like they were saying that the other ghost guy was a member of vampire weekend. it was very random. i also loved later in the episode when wiig said, "aww yeah that dickhead", in the dating sketch and the audience gave a

one of the better shows i have seen from saturday night live in awhile. the abusive women's bball coach had me laughing so hard i couldn't catch my breath. i think drunk uncle continues to be one of if not the best update guest. did anyone else catch seth myers mouthing the words as peter dinklage was saying his
