It's because Greenwald pissed me off.  I'm broadly sympathetic with Glenn Greenwald's positions on most issues, but I love movies and he (and his claque) seems to be willing to make any distortion necessary in order to smear one he doesn't like — it's not even clear WHY he doesn't like it, I think he just overreacted…

This line undermines your whole piece. As I understand it, the film explicitly shows Jessica Chastain's character condoning and abetting torture, even if she shows distaste for it.
