…of course when Chess King closed, he moved to the De Jaiz before that closed, and now he mostly tele markets.  Every spring break he still cruises Ft. Lauderdale in a white BMW E36 convertible (custom rims, aftermarket xenons, broken A/C) that he carefully parks on the curb outside his mom's house every night.

“Stu’s what you’d call professionally cool,” one of them says, though the film leaves the question of how one earns a living as a professional cool guy tantalizingly unanswered.

That's too bad, I have the DVD so I didn't know.
The most distracting thing about the theatrical was the terrible sound mix, there were almost no sound effects in the whole movie originally. I know a bunch of effects editors that were on that crew— the same year they did "Final Countdown"(!) — and they story was they'd

To be fair, Rod Lurie is much more successful and well-known as a director than as a film critic.  It's not like Nate went out and remade "Zapped!"

Admittedly, "You should go home to your harridan wife played by Teri Garr and your dim-bulb son who doesn't know how to do fractions," doesn't make much for an ending either.
