Agreed.  I was listening to season two commentaries recently, and Dan Harmon mentioned that Chevy refused to do a bit where he knocks over wine glasses because he had already done it in a movie thirty years ago.  The scene was rewritten.

Agreed.  I've tried some when buying dessert for my cousin.  Since it's only a week, I'm trying to only have simple meals with big carbs (rice, quinoa, potatoes).  But another week of this and I'd be all over our local health-food place's gluten-free section.

I don't like Brussels sprouts plain, but fry some bacon, fry shredded or halved BS in the fat, then add the shredded bacon, and I love it.

My wife wanted to try a gluten-free diet and I offered to join her for a week of it.  I'm on day 4 and am desperate for bread.  And muffins, and cookies, and cake, and pastry, and KitKats.  This morning I put jam on my porridge because I miss having toast.

I just flew through Louise Erdrich's The Round House, which reminded me of Richard Ford's Canada in odd little ways: Similar region, sudden revelations of future events, and kids dealing with things WAY beyond their maturity levels.
