But "Diamonds Are Forever" the book is way, way, way, way better than "Diamonds Are Forever" the movie.

But as pointed out in the documentary, Fuhrman had no way of knowing if OJ had an alibi when he allegedly planted the glove.

Wasn't aware of that new Beatles book. I've added it to my growing list of books I want to get from the library.

On the heels of "American Crime Story," I started watching "O.J. Simpson: Made in America," the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary. I have one episode left to go as soon as I get it from Netflix. This doc is well done and really sets up well the whole issue of how Simpson never considered himself as black yet his entire

"The song ("Imagine") was originally inspired by Yoko's book, "Grapefruit." In it are a lot of pieces saying, Imagine this, imagine that. Yoko actually helped a lot with the lyrics, but I wasn't man enough to let her have credit for it. I was still selfish enough and unaware enough to sort of take her contribution

"Watching the Wheels" is my all-time favorite Lennon song.

Is it wrong to say that not only is "Imagine" the most over-rated song in Lennon's solo discography but one of the most over-rated songs of all time? It wouldn't even end up in my top 10 favorite Lennon songs. Maybe top 15.

Why does anyone have a problem with what Hodgkinson did? (And, frankly, if you do leave this site. NOW! You are not wanted here. Only good orthodox progressive liberals are allowed at this site.)

On Friday I finished watching "American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson." Wow. Simply, wow. This is a great series. Even with knowing what the verdict would be, I still found the last episode to be suspenseful. And there was so much I had forgotten about that whole case even though I did pay somewhat

The Beatles, in Hamburg, circa 1961
Bruce Springsteen, say mid 70s.
Bob Dylan, 1965-66

Saw "Wonder Woman" on Friday night with a group of friends. I liked it, and it is certainly the better Warner Bros. superhero movie since Nolan's Dark Knight films.

HITLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finished watching season 4 of "The Sopranos."
Finished reading "Never Come Morning," by Nelson Algren.
Started reading "Elephants Can Remember" by Agatha Christie and "Jubilee Hitchhiker," a massive biography on counterculture writer Richard Brautigan.
Went to the third of a three game series here in Los Angeles

Wrapped up the final season of "Justified." It was not the ending I was expecting. I figured that Raylan and Boyd would end up shooting each other. And while I was reading reviews for the episodes over at TV Club, I did not read the one for the last episode..
