Nah, I quite liked the hair too. Though, in seasons 1 and 2, he had more of a floppy haircut, which was also incredibly cute. Every other style between then and now pretty much sucked.

I agree with you on both the points. Dean has never been an overtly (or even covertly) homphobic character. My comment was in very specific context to the line I quoted. It was just one of those instances where cheeky gay jokes cross a line. Maybe the writers didn't even intend for it to be a gay joke at all and, as
