Well many more mainstream Republicans would qualify as "far right" than mainstream democrats would as "far left." From there they may consider the (less numerous) folks on the far left more irritating because in showbusiness that's who's around them.

You forgot smart. Which is the opposite of dumb.

Yeah, I definitely got a deeply self-critical vibe from Gerald and Kyle. A realization that they've had a negative effect on some parts of public discourse? If so, it will be interesting to see where they go from here.

Man, the re-hash/troll theme goes fucking DEEP.

I mean, this would be a re-hash of their ultimate troll of all timeā€¦

I mean, sure he was eating ice cream, but he was also giving and rescinding orders to bomb Denmark on the basis of various people calling him a bitch, which I thought was pretty Grade-A Garrison.

Cartman and Heidi is relatively unaffected.

I think I'm sort of willing to chalk this up to Matt and Trey falling in with the prevailing viewpoint at that time that Trump had no chance.

There have been several seasons where Cartman gets overused, so I think one with a slow burn story arc for him is a good idea. Since that plotline is least affected by global politics, I wouldn't be surprised if they've had a big finale planned for it from the start.

I guess I just wasn't really thinking of the Danish as "good guys" to an extent where I saw the reverse coming. They destroyed Fort Collins and now they're going to destroy the United States. Their plan isn't any different now that we know the guy is a troll, we just know that it's all his plan.

I came in ready to give it an A- and was not dissuaded by the review.

Could be. I read it as a sideways A Christmas Story allusion.

Mr. Slave threw me for a loop. I was fully prepared for the return of Mr. Hat.

Suck it, Chekhov!

As long as Warren Zevon remains uninducted, I consider the entire institution suspect.

Apart from burning Cyril's money, her brother Cecil has a flashback to her burning down a gazebo behind their house as children in Sea Tunt. I think it comes up a couple of other times, too.

Like much arena rock, Billy Joel is pretty lowest common denominator.

I was wondering if they'd go topical and bust out Donald Trunk.

You think she was this ugly before she was an alien?

It's very good for exclaiming "McAdoodle-Doo!"
