I tried the other disqus thread on my phone and it was much better. While I miss some of the functionality it at least didn't slow everything down to a crawl and made it usable.

NuDisqus is so slow…

Did you try following by hovering over a user's avatar next to a comment and then pressing follow in the little pop-up box that… pops up.

That's much better. I can't really use it on mobile anymore until they do something.

No you just go back a page and then forward to the last one and it has all the latest comments.

You had the option of turning notifications on in the little settings icon up there. It doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

I still have it on my work computer as well. As long as the power didn't go out there.
