Because Community has been already put through the ringer even while airing, the backlash is firmly in place.  The amazing thing about the show is that it is a comedy that can create this much criticism.

We'll never know unless Dan Harmon does something like a walkthrough with Todd where this is explored,  but IMO there's absolutely no way to return to the tone of S1 or S2. If this is to be a truly character based comedy, that tone wouldn't suit who these characters are anymore.  It would betray the journey they had…

I was on Mad Men message boards and someone commented on how different
Alison was in Community compared to Trudy.  So I was like, what's Community?  And the rest is history. 
 
I don't remember what my first live episode was but it was in season one and I had caught up on the show through not so legal means by the time…

I would've to get a German proxy to watch.  Which I can do easily, but I'll wait to try it out.  I'm curious to see the way they've changed the episode titles as well.
