Poor Evan.  I was actually surprised to see Thayne there.  I had kind of forgotten him, but he's quite charming in the Broadway setting.

You've not missed much since I would say S3 was the most diverse.  Not to say there haven';t been many amazing routines in the years that followed, but S3 will probably always remain this show's best.  (Although I love S4's dancers the most.)

The first season laugh track doesn't help.  It's so jarring with the pacing and tone of the show.  I really only rewatch it for Krause and Charles.   I've always loved their relationship.  When did you watch it the first time?  I think that would make a difference.
