I tried watching it once on Cable. When they started singing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" I had to turn it off.

A Baz Luhrmann movie is the cinematic equivalent to dangling keys infront of a baby. So yes, you are asking too much from this glorified Music Video Director.

Are you saying Season 4 is weaker than Season 11+?

The F grade for the AV Club is reserved for shows that are literally offensive. Like Glee.

First time I specifically remember them talking about Moe being suicidal was Season 11's Grift of the Magi. Just for some perspective Bill Clinton was still president when that episode debuted.

I swear if they ever try to pull that shit on Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure I will riot the Fox Studios.

Didn't watch the episode but this review made the ending sound quite similar to "Simpson and Delilah. The main character gets an image boost thanks to an expensive cosmetic item (Dimoxinil/A Nice Suit), the character loses that cosmetic item, and despite being the same person he was before he still loses the interest

My favorite "Homer and Marge's marriage is in trouble" episode has to be "Secrets of a Successful Marriage."When they break apart it's played for laughs. Homer's reduced to living in Bart's treehouse and washing his clothes there. He eventually goes insane and starts pretending that a plant with a face drawn on it is

As long as it doesn't have a dreadfully unfunny "Epiphany" scene I'll like it more than the Simpsons movie.

I don't know if I was just in a bad mood when I caught it on TV but I seriously felt time slow down as I watched that episode, the animation was so boring, nothing made me laugh, and Julie Kavner's modern Marge voice might be the most annoying thing of all time (the only fun I had was imitating it when she freaked out

At least "Little Help" feels like a natural song to be in between "Sgt. Pepper's" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."

I'm trying to figure out if I should be more embarrassed for being a fan of Korn as a little kid or Limp Bizkit. Thank goodness I never bought any of their albums but I still cringe thinking about how I thought Nookie was a cool song.

Nah, Paul was really the one who made Abbey Road and that's my favorite Beatles album, so he's the best in my opinion.

I wonder if that dumb movie ever inspired children to try to take law into their own hands and fight criminals trying to break into their home as opposed to hiding and or running away.

A clip show of every couch gag would probably be more entertaining than a new episode, at least because you'd get to see many classic couch gags. Just look at this Sunday's episode:

Boy that Bruce Wayne and Rachel Dawes is a perfect couple. I wonder what happens to those crazy kids in the next Batman movie!

Saying you're a Simpsons Writer must be a terrible icebreaker at parties. Every hopes you wrote one of the classics from Season 9 and below but then have to tell them that you wrote the episode where Marge gets a boob job and nothing memorable happens.

What are you talking about? You need to watch it from the start, and if you don't like the beginning you won't like the new season because I am sadly certain that it couldn't surpass the comedic genius of the first two seasons of AD.

I'll always remember Siskel and Ebert for their crazy fights. They were best friends but they got into some real scrapers, especially that time when they had a full brawl and Siskel pushed Ebert out of an airplane door.

I have strong reason to believe that the cancer was brought on by films such as Baby Geniuses, North, and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo. Too many toxic films entering your system is just deadly. Nathan Rabin is not bald by choice!
