I think this film would be better if one just imagined that Garner plays the same barren mother she did in Juno and that her child from that film has since died from neglect while she just continues believing it is her destiny to be a mother.

I think it indeed does have a couple of memorable scenes. Say what you want, when the family storms the stage it makes for a very fulfilling catharsis. Also: Walter White and Hank.
