Party Down is the one that immediately came to mind when I clicked on this. Henry trying to act again and his last scene with Casey are perfect.

I don't think he's gotten progressively worse. I thought Summer Heights High was better than We Can Be Heroes and my namesake is his best character yet. Can't pass judgement on Angry Boys because I haven't seen it yet but anxious for the HBO debut.
