it's probably the most "important" album that came out of there. but it's not the "indie pop" sound you'll find with minder, apples in stereo, dressy bessy , et al.

Beaulah were fantastic. Especially "When Your Heartstrings Break" which I think is the classic.
The Minders were fantastic and underrated. Neutral Milk Hotel had their classic, of course. I always felt that Apples in Stereo were overrated.
Those two pictures are EXACTLY what I thought of when I read the headline. Though with these two actresses I wonder can they really play characters anymore? Or, do they just play themselves doing with the characters are supposed to do?
I'm not even sure I was aware this was show was still around. Can't imagine the schtick is holding up well 7 or 8 years in.
