LOST ended in May 2010 with about 2600 comments.  The S5 finale of Dexter aired in Dec 2010 and had 462 comments.  Dexter's finale currently has 2100 comments.

Relax, low ratings are basically a sign that the show is truly worth watching.

I guess this makes Fox Tuesdays the new NBC Thursdays, complete with that one sitcom that doesn't quite fit with the rest because they're trying to go broader (failing miserably) and canceled/put on a hiatus a fan favorite (Ben & Kate, Raising Hope).

Well, well the point was that the writer of the very article is the one supposed that the reason this show is so successful is because the characters are true to life, which rang false, hence the retort by Aldo Kerast.  I don't think anyone said anything that really contradicts what you just said.
