@avclub-eb4d4948a4c9d8a3066cdf48eecbdade:disqus Uh, the way he died was shocking, but completely logical.  Why the fuck would the Lannisters and Freys let any of the Starks and their family/allies live and give them a chance to avenge the dead?  Kill the wannabe-king, his mother, the wife, and their baby and you won't

@avclub-e57dbebc740250d2c4a370cf6ccb35f0:disqus It was cheap yes, and apparently signifies the end of all death and disease, but I don't believe it qualifies as any sort of Deux Ex.

Yeah, the title doesn't really capture what the article is trying to say, but that seems to be the case every time.

….Anustart defined.

This will certainly cheer people up:

*GOT spoilers*

Uh…what the fuck is this awesomery

It's a particularly broad type of perfect commonly referred to as "im-perfect".

Yes, but how did it do in the B18-49 demo?

Replace"inherently awesome" with "hunted for their horns".

Village admirers are rarer than unicorns.

Well, if you don't want friends who drink, fuck them and fuck
connections.  There's no point in doing something that feels like an
obligation.

Make sure "resume" is off…

If I remember correctly (I read SoS way back when too), the book was a little more graphic, with details of how each person in Robb's cadre is brutally murdered.  The show almost sanitizes it a little by keeping the "personal" deaths to a minimum, with most of the dead dying from quick arrow wounds and neck slashes,

They've been weened on decades of pretty safe and boring television.

It's nothing big, but apparently they threw in Talisa's death during the Red Wedding for good measure and it was pretty brutal.

Talisa (or her equivalent rather) didn't die in the books either.  I guess they needed something extra for people who had already read them.

What the fuck, somehow I spoiled myself for GOT by wading into Experts review despite having read the books.

Eh, I blame the other dude.  He spelled it wrong first and it was late.
