Her?

I think he means: "2. the capacity, condition, or state of acting or of exerting power"

"Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan," starring the seemingly unbeatable duo of Joe Estevez and Dan Haggerty, opened in a disappointing last place—$800 on two screens. I truly didn't see that one coming.

I have no money left after giving everything to the Mamet sisters.

"Who Is Harry Nilsson?" is on Netflix streaming. I wouldn't call it a classic, but it's worth watching if you're at all interested in '60s/'70s pop.

Yeah, definitely. She deserves an Emmy nod, though that won't happen.

Yeah, he really got outstanding performances from both of them.

Yes, this.

"Seance on a Wet Afternoon" is really good.

The matter-of-fact pot joke in this is astounding. (That couldn't possible have remained in the shorter American cut, could it?)

You going to tell that to William Faulkner?

On my cable system, the show was slated to run two hours—I guess Logo's way of tricking people into recording "Felt."

I have to disagree with you about the first one. The director is delusional—he thinks it's a great movie and people are watching it unironically. This one will probably be more in on the joke and therefore be even harder to watch.

Hm. My first reaction wasn't positive.

I don't know what that is nor do I care to find out.

I saw this at age 11 at—I swear—a Saturday afternoon matinee. (Hey, it's animated, right?)

Rue McClanahan?

I thought this was the best of the season. OK, not exactly a high bar, but I liked this a lot, with no big reservations.

The NY Times published its similarly vague review today, too.

Ah, I get it now … all the opening and closing of doors in the "Coming next time" teasers of seasons past: They weren't just F.U.s to the concept of teasers, they were all leading up to this.
