I haven't read the books,but can someone please explain the Bravvos scene. Isn't the Iron Bank meant to be some sort of unbroken temple, yet a 5 minute spur of the moment speech made them whimsically change their mind into funding a war.
How will Stannis be able to pay back the gold any more than the Lannisters can…
