I guess it's a very British thing to say, but one of the most striking things about our cyclists is how nice they all seem.  Vicky Pendleton had every right to be furious over the goings on last night but she took it on the chin and was perfectly gracious in defeat.

Traditionally we've always done the medal table by golds first over here, even when it left us languishing in 30th place - I take it you guys score it differently?  Is it purely on number of medals or are golds weighted in some way over silver, and silver over bronze?

I was slightly disappointed that the time penalty that Jonny picked up meant that we didn't get to see how they would have handled a head-to-head at the finish, the commentators were suggesting that in less important races they've crossed the line together.
