A few years ago when the Dodgers were playing the Giants at AT&T Park, there was a fan holding up a "Mattingly, shave those sideburns!" sign. I was delighted.

Really? I wasn't familiar with her, but I thought her stood out as particularly bad, considering she was playing herself. Her and Turtle's storyline was still the least offensive part of the movie though.

He was catcher for the Giants and DH for the White Sox. Rumor is he was supposed to do a thing with Buster Posey (which makes sense), but he was so late that Posey just went home. So he dealt with our backup backup catcher instead.

Did anyone else catch any of these games live? I was at the White Sox/Giants game. Apparently he was supposed to show up for the 6th inning, but was running super late and barely made it to the 9th. Which is a shame, because we would have gotten rid of the people who were just there to see Will Ferrell much earlier.

But then he gets more into the having a baby thing and puts a lot of effort into it and she gets really distant and SPOILERS leaves him SPOILERS temporarily because she's convinced he won't be a good or supportive father…

I read it because my mom gave it to me, and yeah it kind of was. But at least she also gets something out of it because he's helping her find her biological father. The book is fine, not great. The sequel makes her seem like an unreasonable bitch though.

In the book he's around 40. But then again, in the book Rosie is 29, not 25, so I'm sure the actor will be in his 50s.

I've read the book, and at least that would be canon (and part of why Rosie doesn't fit the criteria). BUT the character is supposed to be 29 and I bet the male lead will be well over the age of the 40 year old character.

They have other siblings right? I think there's other sacrificial options.
