I literally did not notice that Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch were in the poster until I read your comment.

It's all terribly sad, but for some reason that aspect of it is bumming me out super hard.

I'm pretty sure I remember that. It was incredible.

Nah, you have to get asked out to have dates, no matter how awkward or quasi!

"Part of Your World" most likely wasn't nominated due to its similarities to Menken's "Somewhere That's Green" from Little Shop of Horrors.

I saw it at midnight on the weirdest, most awkward quasi date of my life.

He's 6'1"

I mean, if Rider Strong is a real name…

She is 17.

I think it depends. When I was in high school, the cheerleaders and football players were not popular and homecoming court included people from band and theater. But when I was telling this to other friends of mine, they all found this surprising.

Jesus Christ, how many times are you going to mention Brave New World? I'm glad your 10th grade English class spoke to you so much, but it might be time to find a new example.

Now, I actually only know of him because he wrote a book with Green, but David Leviathan. Daniel Handler and Nick Hornby have also wrote some YA, although they write for adults as well.

I graduated high school in 2008. We were assigned Brave New World and Animal Farm. Not 1984, but I hope George Orwell is acceptable to you. We also were assigned Song of Solomon, Heart of Darkness (hated it), Pride and Prejudice, Death of a Salesman, A Doll's House, The Jungle (god, what a failure that piece of crap

I read Toni Morrison in my 11th grade English class, so take that!

Actually, Peeta lives in the town in District 12, not the Seam neighborhood, which is what you so charmingly referred to as a ghetto. His family owns a bakery, so they make bread and other things, not just cake. But the camouflage thing is more that Peeta is a talented painter who translated those skills into cake
