HA! Maybe as an alternative, you could watch Cuaron's homage to the movie, Y Tu Mama Tambien… oh wait, the threesome was explicit and you see boobies.

School of Rock is indeed the perfect film to show to anybody with a heart and PG-13 sensibilities.

Confession: I thought he was gross when the show started, but gradually it dawned on me: I'd probably have sex with him.

I'm just happy Whedon left most of the language in. I'm always bemused by Shakespeare movies which strip away the poetry of his actual words; without the words, the plays are not that special.

You have never seriously hung out with Whedon fans because believe me, we can be an incredibly divisive bunch. He's made a lot of stuff — the dude once had 3 shows on the air, simultaneously — so there is a lot to debate about, quality-wise. WE ALL HAVE PREFERENCES OK?

like @avclub-5bbc67c39fbdf1c74e28b86c595f6e4a:disqus, my favorite all-time critic is Pauline Kael. Not only was she a great, compulsively readable writer, she pretty much shaped my critical responses to not only film, but other narrative arts too. Most of my favorite movies I've seen because of her.

Gay Perry wins it, in my book. I'd watch Kilmer take a shit at this point, and be entertained.

I went to see Snow White and the Huntsmen because of friends, found it lifeless and oddly airless, and just tried to sit back and watch Charlize chew some tasty scenery.
