I thought the cars were super secret transports encrypted by that dude, though? Wasn't it what they discovered in the Roxxon ledger? Because if it was only dirt, I'm sure there was an easier way to dispose of it than all that cloak and dagger nonsense.

Speaking of disappointing: did we ever find out what was the deal with those train cars full of sand/ dirt?

Maybe? This makes sense, except for that ominous "Does he know what you are?" thing, which makes no sense, because Matt knows Elektra's nuts and likes to kill people, and Stick isn't supposed to know she's the Black Sky. Or is he? My head hurts now.

I'm confident The Maze Runner will be the last one for a long while.

Hey, A Person liked this post!

I'm guessing the Blacksmith is also doing a bit of housecleaning, because how can one not be thoroughly intimidated by the investigative prowess of a mousy paralegal and not, say, those of her lawyer colleagues?

I like him too, because how can one not like cranky Scott Glenn, but he may want to tip his hand every once in a while.

In my case, it was the former meaning, not the latter.

Yeah, point taken about The Giver; I should have said "recent" YA franchises.

The Moderate Awakening
Into the Present
The Day of the Fisherman
Dial R for Robbery
The Gentleman from Beijing
Black Cold
Drop-off on North Street
Kick Me Lively

And how!

I think it will also coincide with the end of YA dystopias overall (are there any good ones, other than The Hunger Games, anyway?). And the bifurcated thing will just get transferred to superhero movies.

That's not coming until 2017.

See, that's what makes it so confusing, because he also seems to believe that Black Sky is the single most horrifying thing on the planet. I mean, I get the idea that maybe he thought he could control Elektra, get her to channel her abilities for the better, but he's such a goddamn confusing character. He trains her

Vincent D'Onofrio should play late period Marlon Brando at some point.

OK, but why is she special enough to be called that? And did Stick know she was Black Sky when he started training her?

I'm guessing the Blacksmith killed Reyes and tried to kill Karen to… um, get the cops to kill Frank, because it all worked so very well the last time Frank got a tad angry? It makes about as much senses as a D.A. covering up a botched sting operation by trying to have a witness killed, falsifying evidence, and

I'm guessing Frank was just having a nice day out with his family? New York is an awfully small place, apparently.

I wasn't too convinced; felt too much like a "the butler did it" cop out.
