Sad!

I'm really curious what Fuller's next show will be like. I wasn't a great fan of his stuff before, and then Hannibal came along. So now I'm curious if it was an exception or just a massive, massive shift in his style.

God bless that cocksucker.

Sir Gawain is my favorite medieval romance, hands down.

I'm watching it on Space. I don't even have a Netflix!

It does!

Yeah, Fagles is the standard, and it's very good.

I always thought "Time Enough at Last" relied a bit too heavily on that twist. For perpetual topicality and relevance, nothing beats "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street." I also like "Mirror Image" and "And Then the Sky Was Opened" as nice, low key horror stories.

You can try a new Beowulf translation. Seamus Heaney's is especially good, I think. And listen to it read in Old English because it sounds fucking awesome.

I think The X-Files was the last great anthology series. It's why I always loved its monster of the week episodes a lot more than that reheated alien bullshit.

Yeah, I'd watch a good Creepypasta show.

Egghead.

Do The Odyssey next! And then Beowulf and The Aeneid!

FILM:
Cemetery of Splendor: I liked it well enough when I saw it on Friday, but it's kinda sneaked up on me over the weekend, and now I can confidently say I love it. It has a gentle casual approach to the dream world and the supernatural and a tremendous love for the humanity of its characters.

The Twilight Zone is such a great show. I wish they made something like it again.

Aw.

Bernie Sanders is lying when he says his disruptors aren't told to go to my events. Be careful Bernie, or my supporters will go to yours!

And I thought he was smart :(

Eh. Racist? For sure. (Quasi) Fascist? Needs more racial supremacy talk.
