As much as I enjoy Todd's reviews, it was very interesting to have a non-book-reader do the review, see how different they're seeing things.

The handmaiden's name is Doreah, at least in the books.
@Drunk on Mystery/Scrawler.
He knows the toasts, his brother is a rabbi.
LloydBraun, you keep this up you'll get a shout out eventually from Harmon.
I'm really hoping for a "The Other 48 Days" style episode for next season, completely from the perspective of some of the peripheral characters, with the study group appearing in background or one-liners.
starvtwalker, I do the exact same thing.
I thought that may have been the start of the Habitat for Humanity/community service episode. How many fake flashback episodes were there, anyways?
Lakers-Bulls, Lakers in 7.
Between those and his twitter, I get the insecure impression as well. He (joked) that he reads Todd's reviews (seems obvious that he would), and the comments too, BUT only if it's below a B or something. Otherwise he doesn't read the comments, I guess ostensibly to not ruin a good thing, or to redeem it if the review…
He can't, cuz then everyone invades the other threads for the night and bitches/discuss anyways.
I watched this and 30 Rock almost back to back and I noticed the lack of "whoosh"/quick pan camera too. But they set it up with dialogue, so I was never confused, but yeah. File that under "typos in Crime & Punishment".
COMMUNITY SUCKS, you've sold out. You used to be so reliable and consistent, and now you're making actual comments. You've lost your gimmickness. You've lost your uniqueness. But you can bring it back. We all believe in you.
I just double-checked, it's absolutely "What am I not good at?"
Cooperative Calligraphy is still the best of the season, and Modern Warfare is still the best overall. This is up in rarefied air, though.
The St. Paddy's Day episode. Maybe just wishful thinking, but unlike a lot of the other conceits, it DOES happen every year…
The youtube thing was great - they're VERY aware of all the shippers, and us, the deconstructionists.
As much as I loved this episode, a part of me is sad we won't see those other themed episodes. Unless they somehow return to them in later seasons? Start going all LOST-timeline on us.
After the way book 3 wraps up, anything was going to be a letdown, and 4 is more like 1: moving pieces into place for the crazy shit to go down later.
SPOILER: We don't expressly see him die, we're just told he's dead. Much like Bran, Rickon, and Arya. I highly doubt we've seen the last of him. Though given that ADWD runs concurrently to AFFC (and he's a confirmed POV) we should see what really happens.
