Both the Elongated Man (DC) and Plastic Man (DC) predate Mr. Fantastic (Marvel). Also, literally the only thing Mystique and Indigo have in common is the color blue.

Dude, really?

Because black?

I'm not convinced about Ritter. She seems like she should have been the perfect actress to bring JJ to life, but so often her snark seems forced and "off", especially in early episodes.

I'm gonna go in the complete other direction and say that this was one of the lesser CE-G episodes. It felt like an '80s sitcom in all of the wrong ways. Further, I found the "Stupid Bitch" song vastly inferior to Textmergency.

So say we all

She's already been name-checked (kinda). Cat mentioned in an earlier episode that she had a teacher named Miss Marshon.

Well, since nobody has mentioned it, someone (I'm think it was Cat) mentioned a teacher by the name of Miss Marshon, which sounds very close to Miss Martian, a white martian who sometimes claimed J'ohnn J'onzz was her uncle.

Zing!

I liked how they worked in the phrase "what about Bob", which was a movie that featured Katheryn Erbe.

It doesn't help that Jessica Jones started out slow, got progressively better, and then fizzled out in the last few episodes.

Captain Marvel's a dude

He might even catch you up on some steps

Godfather exists all all earths

Bustier

I'm still enjoying the show but, damn, if it isn't getting more and more predictable. I easily figured out that Jessica's latest case was a setup not involving Kilgrave long before the phone call that raised her suspicions. And Malcolm being in league with Kilgrave has been telegraphed since the first episode.

Ya, it felt Whedon-y, but in a good way.

Jessica Jones is serious, well-written grimdark show. Supergirl is a fun, light, entertaining show.

I'll be THAT guy and say:

Too bad Krysten Ritter can't pull off Jessica's snark very well. It was cringe-worthy.
