It may not be an all-time iconic episode, but I love the one when George Steinbrenner hosted. Basically the full 90 minutes was devoted to insulting The Boss and making him look like an ass, a task which the man himself gleefully partook in.

I haven't watched the Sports Night DVD in a while but I seem to remember the laugh track gradually getting less obtrusive and then just disappearing altogether. The Sledge Hammer DVDs actually have an intro with the creator Alan Spencer explaining that he demanded the laugh track be removed for the DVD release.

I thought I had read an interview 2 or 3 years ago where he said he had done a bunch of commentaries and special features and they were just waiting for the company to release it. So either he was lying or they did new commentaries or I made it up in my head.

I love The Big City episode, mostly for the line when Chris orders a pizza with no cheese on it and someone asks him why, he says all smugly, "because I CAN."

On the commentary for the Ben Stiller Show DVD, one of the cast members said that Fox wanted to do a spin-off sitcom for the Skank character, which never…

With the passing of Harry Kalas a few years ago this truly is the end of an era.

Odd that he is best known for punching someone, as he has the most punchable face personally have ever seen. And he's 50 and his name is Ben Weasel.

I saw Michael Mann do a Q&A after a screening of LOTM and he basically said when writing the screenplay he tried to read the book, decided it was terrible, and instead used the 1936 LOTM script as a guideline, which is why the love story is in the movie.

When I was there I ate at Col. Chamberlain's Mustacheria. I found a hair in my food.
