My favorite moment of this episode would have to be the cut away to silly/jolly music playing over the show's opening shot (the speed boat with NYC in the background and Jon posing near the title), RIGHT after we see Jon strangle David in the park.

Your third point could definitely be a situation that unfolds in the last two episodes of this season. The writers are always trying to find ways to connect the B-plot of Dana and Finn, (PRIMARILY Dana) with the overall storyline, i.e. Brody, Carrie, the CIA.
