In a semi-related story, I was recently hit on by a guy who said that Bryan Singer was an as-good or better director than Stanley Kubrick. This guy later turned out to be a competitive eater featured on The Colbert Report for eating a 23-pound hamburger and comparing his competitive eating journey to the Civil Rights

Oh my god shut up you just made me so sad

I cried at the Ginny/Michelle conversation, not because of this is potentially the last Bunheads ever. It was a sad dramatic scene, Bailey Buntain nailed it, and I cried.

I cried. I cried like a big, dumb, homo.

What's interesting about this show is that I can't multitask during it. I found myself zoning out on the computer when Daphne and Travis were signing, and after a few minutes of no sound I realized that I had no idea what had just happened.

I can't wait until he finds an adorable alien and teaches it Hawaiian phrases!

Didn't Spielberg say that he wouldn't have had Roy abandon his family if he made it again? Someone told me that after he got a family, he thought it was wrong for Roy to leave.

Exactly, He can go to college after a couple years of soul-searching and be just fine, thanks to his parents' money.

Additionally, wasn't it mostly Sasha going for the beer, in the full throes of her rebellion? The other girls acted kind of scandalized by it, if I'm remembering right.

Suburgatory humor! I get it!

After Michelle told Scotty that all of his childhood memories were fake, my mom told me that she had always wanted to do that, only she’d make it a studio with backdrops so she could charge other parents to do the same and take pictures.

I'm trying to think of a time my parents embarrassed me, but most of my humiliations were self-inflicted.

REGINA NO!
That's what I shouted at my TV. How long has she been sober again? I forget.

IMMORTAL CHARACTERS HINT HINT I'm crying oh god the sadness

I just learned that a guy I started hanging out with recently is Michael Keaton's nephew. I've now devised a plan in which I marry this guy and infiltrate the Keaton family and reenact scenes from Beetlejuice with Michael Keaton himself.

I saw him in Pittsburgh and had a great time. He was engaged with the audience, made some jokes about being a hermit, and encouraged everyone to sing along. It was neat to be in such a reverent atmosphere - everyone felt like they were part of something special.

This is the first time I've ever seen that word in real life and not on Freaks and Geeks. I'm so excited.

Ah, the Sanjaya effect.

It was really sad when he was all, "turn the lights up on the audience" and it didn't happen. Still, a stellar experience.
