I thought so, but apparently not confirmed- just speculated. Thanks for the correction!

Good point- based on her personal stances, I've assumed she's a Democrat, but I think you're right and that hasn't actually been confirmed. Thanks for the correction!
And following that with a speech centered on h-words is great.
Glad to help!
Neat- I like the gift even more now. Thanks for the info!
The ending of the Bunheads pilot is hard to take, I grant you (I had the same reaction), but I'd encourage you to give it another shot. There's some great stuff there, particularly as a Foster fan.
Oh yes, obviously. Thanks! That was bugging me.
I believe Billy West voices the little ant demon, though I could be wrong. I didn't see him anywhere else in the episode, and I believe the male announcer at the beginning is the always entertaining Jim Piddock.
For me, the suburbs sequence is shaded by Mike's role as tour guide- of course this is how Mike would paint the suburbs. I don't know that the show agrees with his POV. But I agree it's tiresome.
Overall, I enjoyed it- Minka Kelly's great throughout. Her deadpan delivery made the Tanaka scenes (and episode as a whole) work, though the series'/Josh's lack of interest in his love interests as individuals is getting tiresome.
Nope, didn't miss it, but as we don't have anything confirmed yet, I didn't feel the need to speculate in the review. That's what the comments are for! (I posted about it below shortly after the review went live.)
Me too- figured he was saying goodbye to Sasha and going outside to make good use of one of those silencers.
The key word there: "almost". Another big exception (that proves the rule), along with the fabulous Pushing Daisies, is Veronica Mars.
Yup- I find it distractingly (and at times, undeservedly) loud in several of the earlier s4 episodes. Rather than add additional fake laughs, it would be easy to just crank the recorded track's volume in the sound mix.
It's actually both- see Marcus Carab's comment below.
Most of the dubs sounded pretty convincing. Usually they used "rod" instead of "cock". When they were using "cock" to refer to a person, they would say "cockroach".
That loincloth certainly didn't come from Solonius' closet. It doesn't seem like a big leap to assume the arena dresses the prisoners and has a certain standard issue sandal. So not the specific sandals, but a near-identical pair.
Thanks! I doubt I'll write them up, but to keep it brief, I love the other seasons. A truly great series finale (certainly the best of its year- sorry BBad!) and a rare series that manages to establish enormous stakes and expectations and then exceed them. For more, a quick Google search will pull up the podcast…
It may not be my favorite, but it did get me to legitimately enjoy Flashheart, no small feat.
Ouch. That's terrible. Thanks for catching it!
