Yeah, I love the recorder opening. Very fitting for the season's court setting. Thanks for the I Claudius info- that's one of my blind spots.

You could also argue that as he lowers in station, he gets more intelligent. He certainly gets more cynical.

Queenie dance party? Why do I feel like she'd channel Helena, once she got going? Now I'm imagining Queenie and Felix as besties and it's wonderful.

There's no telling which fan names will catch on. I like to think it's stuck because we like having a pet name for her, like Lord Flashheart. Plus of course, when you say Queen Elizabeth I, you could mean any of the numerous interpretations of the historical figure. There's only one Queenie.

Oh, I understand. I just don't think it's funny. I don't even see why others think it is funny. The tonal shift doesn't work and it's downright painful to watch. But humor is very subjective and many of the fans (most?) seem to love the moment

Yes. I've heard that "Bells" was not supposed to be the first episode originally, but I couldn't find non-wiki confirmation.

Of course- fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!

… now the Leafs call me up to drive the Zamboni

Me too- I couldn't quite figure out what was happening until the second press conference restored equilibrium.

I love how terrible of a liar Jonah is.

He very well may have- that occurred to me. Speaking of the phone, it's interesting to me who screws up in a given episode. Kent's crate mess up (the high price tag) is his first big one of the season and while Ben and everyone else get caught on tape (Ben's first slip up all season), Amy is golden- is that a sign of

I've certainly appreciated the raised stakes this year. I didn't love the tone here, but if they tweak it a bit you're right, having higher stakes should be a good thing for the show.

I've had a great time covering the second half of Veep this season- thank you to everyone for making me feel welcome!

There are a lot of great episodes being suggested, but the single show that most needs to be added is Adventure Time. Any list of episodes trying to demonstrate the breadth and depth of quality TV is incomplete without the beautifully unique, creative, philosophical, and frequently hilarious Adventure Time. As for

I was a big fan of Watching Ellie- glad I'm not the only one who remembers it!

lol. You are technically correct- the best kind of correct. However, uninterest triggers the spell check, so a compromise: lack of interest.

Yeah, I particularly enjoyed the Dani-blah. Gotta love a pause-the-DVR headline like that. Only reason I didn't mention it was because pretty soon, I'd just be listing funny things. Of which this show has a lot.

If (well, when) Amy implodes, who's up next for campaign manager? If I had to guess, she won't last 'til the finale. Will Ben finally step in?

Hey Dan! I wasn't able to keep up with it beyond its first couple- comments like this one make me feel like I should make time for it.

Nice! Thanks for the heads up.
