Keith, have you converted Noel, yet?
I seem to recall in his "Popless" entry on Roxy Music that he was less than impressed with them. You seemed to be trying to convince him otherwise in the comments.

Okay, okay, maybe she is wearing underpants, but it _looks_ like she's not and that's the important thing.
See, I completely agree with you on the overall sexiness of Christina Aguilera, but I really hate her breast implants. I've seen pictures where they just look terrible and I wish she would have them removed.
I saw the Incredible Hulk waiting patiently for the traffic light to change so he could cross the street. Something about that image just cracks me up whenever I think about it.
My favorite part of that story is the interview the L.A. Times did with Darth Vader (who refused to be identified as anything else) wherein Darth Vader said something along the lines of : "Chewbacca has always been a troublemaker."
Surrealistic Pillow
My parents had "Surrealistic Pillow" on vinyl, but for some reason I never gave it a spin. I played my mom's copy of "Sgt. Pepper" and the white album all the time but no Jefferson Airplane. Reading this makes me think I should put that album on my dad's turntable the next time I go visit.
I actually really like "Miracles". They made good use of it at the end of the first "Crank". I'm not sure where it falls on the airplane/starship timeline, though.
Here's my run-up to Halloween :

Favorite episodes
The Invisibles - creepy underground government conspiracy with parasitic aliens; the recruitment scenes at the beginning are truly disturbing and its got a great performance from Richard "Family Feud" Dawson
The solution to this mystery is quite elementary.
Jim - Does your story include a demonstration of your "penis-kata" technique, wherein you avoid contracting VD from the singapore whores by spastically twitching and flinging your dick around from side to side.
What if I accidentally think about a Family Circus I read this morning while I'm masturbating?
8. The art direction. The graffitti and wall-paintings in and around Candyman's lair are just awesome.
Ebert on Scorsese
Has anyone read Ebert's book-length interview of Scorsese? I'm curious if it's worth picking up.
A Martin Scorsese Joint
Two of my favorite Spike Lee movies are his most openly influenced by Scorsese. "Clockers" and "Summer of Sam". They have plenty of Spike Lee's personal flavor in them, too, but I think they both benefit greatly from the Scorsese influence.
Devo's cover of "Satisfaction" in CASINO is probably my favorite. If I remember correctly there is a giant straw sniffing coke and gangsters shooting up a car in time with Mark Mothersbaugh's "baby, baby, baby, baby, baby…" I need to watch that again. It's been too long.
Monster Magnet indeed
When I first glanced at it I read "4-Way Diablo" as "4-Way Dildo" for some reason. And that's an album I'd like to hear.
Tour?
Will there be a book tour with Nathan reading selected passages and signing and meeting and greeting and all of that fun stuff?
Here you go, Mick :
