Hey, I'm not waiting around for the government to manufacture human flavored candy bars. If shit goes down I'm eating the living fuck out of you people immediately.

But they balance it out by spitting in everyone's food.

Sexual Harrassment in the Workplace
At about 3:15 in the above video, Josh's camera is clearly focused on Genevieve's chest.

So, was anyone else kinda drunk when they watched this?
'Cause I polished off an $8 bottle of merlot by the end and I was pretty buzzed.

I actually liked the Target ads. The smoke monster ad for smoke alarms was hilarious.

I like it when they make me laugh before I cry. Sawyer's line while his arm was up in the vending machine, "It's okay. I'm a cop.", was probably the funniest of the night.

But that brings up a question for me. If Hurley was somehow the orchestrator for the alterna-timeline, then why was he unaware of what was happening at the beginning of that timeline until he met up with Libby? He seemed to be as clueless as everyone else.

I kept saying to myself that Kate was wearing a hooker dress. And I wasn't really complaining.

I don't know if writing these up every episode enhanced or detracted from your enjoyment of the show, Noel, but it certainly enhanced my enjoyment of it. So, like everyone else has been saying, thanks for doing what I imagine was a very difficult write up of this show.

Oopsie. I haven't seen it in a while. In fact I was probably thinking of the Simpsons, now that I think about it.

Favorite Shorts?
I would have to go with "Mr. B-Sharp" and the bread selling short at the beginning of the "High School Big Shot" episode.

My favorite from the Joel era is probably "Master Ninja" (Master Ninja Theme Song!) and my favorite from the Mike era is "High School Big Shot".

Do you have a cup?
When Jacob asked Jack if he had a cup and Jack said yes I secretly wished that Jacob had just hauled off and kicked Jack in the gonads. It wouldn't have made any sense, but it would have been hilarious.

I immediately thought of Zelda Rubinstein, but that's probably not the case since she died this past January.

Agreed on the cover. And it suits the tone of the movie very well. Although I wonder if that big blue Blu-Ray circle on the bottom is a permanent part of the cover or just something on the plastic wrap that you can take off. If it's permanent then that would be too bad.

Simple Minds Greatest Hits
I know getting a greatest hits album is supposed to be a total poser move or some such horseshit, but as an entry point to a band's output I think they can have a lot of value.

The End?
So for next weeks' promo they played "The End". Now, I like The Doors as much as the next guy, but after "Apocolypse Now" and all of the various parodies of "Apocolypse Now" I really think that song has been pretty well played out for a while. It's been a long time since "Lost" has used pre-existing music,

I liked it
It seems I'm somewhat in the minority, but I thought this was really nice. I don't have a problem with the more mythological side of "Lost" (although at one point in the show's run I thought I would), but I think the mythological stuff works much better in old world flashback episodes like this and "Ab

This show, by its very nature, was bound to frustrate if not alienate a lot of its audience. It lives or dies by maintaining a mystery and subverting the viewer's expectations. When you expect a story to give you one genre and it ends up giving you another, maybe, it can be hard to hang on for the ride.

Based on the shape of the board, I immediately thought of Mastermind, for some reason.
