C'mon boys! Let's show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown.

For some reason I'll get that excited cowboy's voice stuck in my head from time to time :

You forgot the YEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Deep Cover
I'm pretty sure Nathan has given this movie a shout out before, but "Deep Cover" is a great pulpy crime thriller. Jeff Goldblum makes a surprisingly effective sleazy villain.

Ice T
I know he may not exactly be G-Funk, but certainly Ice-T deserves a mention here. He certainly paved the way for a lot of West Coast Gansta Rap.

Hey
Did whatsername ever get back atcha?

The Annex is cool. It's so bizarre and kind of creepy to stand there looking at the Enola Gay. Maybe Ben Stiller and Robin Williams could make a movie about that. Where the Enola Gay comes to life and bombs a whole bunch of Japanese people. I think kids would love that.

What taboos does she think she's going to break? Are there any left in porn in this day and age? I saw a girl suck poop from her own butthole with a clear plastic tube. What the fuck is this chick gonna do to surprise me? "a reputation for fearlessness and vigor"? Yeah, cause most porn stars are timid nowadays.

And, oddly enough, I think "Brick" works best if you don't understand what the fuck is going on all the time or even what everyone is saying. It takes on a strange surreal quality that pulls you along and if the plot and dialogue were easy to understand I think it would lose something vital. I've only seen it once

Caruso is actually amusing. They can't get rid of all the trolls so we might as well appreciate the funny ones.

That song wins the all-time crown for most overplayed song in the history of mankind. I defy you to name a song that has been beaten to death by various media outlets more than "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)".

I love "1,039 Smoothed-Out Slappy Hours". I'm not sure if you meant dopey as a negative, Kyle, but I think there's some really great music on that disc ("Going To Pasalaqua", "Green Day", "Rest").

Yeah. The only bad thing I can really say about the movie is the title. It's not a good title.

Saddle the Wind
I would recommend "Saddle the Wind" for a 50s psychological western about the sad lot of the professional gunfighter. In particular it deals with an old retired gunfighter trying to go straight but being drawn back in by his hot headed younger brother who idealizes his outlaw reputation. John

That's probably what Jacob said to Blackie when he got to the island before him. That's what set off the whole chain of events.

It's probably got a pocket of electromagnetism in it, so if you buy it be prepared to start pushin' a button for the rest of your life.

I think that picture is a great metaphor for what's been happening on the show overall and especially this season. Jack is excercising his free choice. Is his free choice going to ultimately free him from the island or is his free choice the very thing that's kept him there all this time? And the look on his face

I thought it sounded Russian, but I also could be wrong.

For some reason this is the first thing I thought of when I saw the statue :

Dolly goes pop
I know a lot of her late 70s/early 80s pop music was cheesy and wasn't all hard core country like her old stuff, but I have fond memories of hearing her pop music when I was a kid (including duets with Kenny Rogers). In particular "Here You Come Again" and "9 to 5 and Odd Jobs". I haven't heard them
