I'm almost afraid to listen to the Rebecca Romijn song, but I'll have to try and track it down.

You ghostin' us, mothafucka. Do it again, I'll bleed ya, real quiet, and leave you here.
Is Ellison any good?
I'm only familiar with Harlan Ellison the sore-headed old crank and most litigious man in America, but not the writer. I've seen the episode of "The Outer Limits" that he wrote and then sued James Cameron over claiming he stole the story for "The Terminator" (which is pretty much bullshit, btw). …
drug dealer?
I haven't read Ellison's original teleplay, but I think it was a wise choice to have McCoy be the one that went crazy and changed the future. It added a huge emotional element to Kirk and Spock's mission and allowed for that amazing scene where the three friends are suddenly reunited and then immediately…
I love that scene. The fact that McCoy is lying passed out on the ground while this guy just accidentally vaporizes himself makes it play like a rare moment of black comedy for TOS.
Yeah, I don't know if your question at the end there is rhetorical, Zack, but please, please cover season 2 and 3. These write-ups are great.
Best Covers of Prince Songs
1. Chaka Khan - "I Feel for You"
Appolonia
Appolonia was okay in "Purple Rain", I thought. Her boobies were pretty cool, anyway.
The Hits/The B-Sides
The art of the greatest hits album is often overlooked, but the three disc "The Hits/The B-Sides" is one of the best greatest hits records I've ever come across. Not to discourage anyone from picking up Prince's individual albums, but if you're new to Prince and you're looking for a good starting…
"Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" has the single catchiest guitar riff in all of rock music. Once you hear it it takes a good 48 hours to get it out of your head. It's even worse than "Breakin' the Law".
Boobies?
Is there at least any nudity from Mila Kunis and/or Olga Kurylenko? That should bump this up a couple of percentage points.
Don't forget "Shooter". That's a solid action movie right there. The way they used to make 'em.
Palatable?
Mark Wahlberg's reaction to seeing his dead wife is a lot more believable than Thomas Jane's reaction to seeing his dead wife in "The Punisher". That movie is goofy and cartoonish and then it goes and makes the mistake of taking itself seriously. Mark Wahlberg is like Al Pacino compared to Thomas Jane in…
He was also in "Vertical Limit" which, for a dumb action movie, is pretty darn enjoyable. Nitro explosions, people falling off of mountains… I would recommend watching it on purpose.
Dreams?
I'm not sure why you chose "Dreams" as the song that should drown out news stories about the Octomom, but I freakin' love that song, so, nice choice.
Wait. Sean, do you really look like Don Johnson? "Miami Vice" Don Johnson or "Nash Bridges" Don Johnson?
Nice write up, Josh (is this your first regular movie review for the site?). However, it pales in comparison to Zodiac's review. Maybe he can give you a few pointers on how to punch it up.
Information Society
To those who doubt you can sample one of Spock's lines from "Errand of Mercy" and turn it into a hit song, I give you Information Society's smash single "What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy)" from 1988.
K-Tel Mellow Gold
So the lyrics for "It Never Rains In Southern California" tell the story of a man who flew out to L.A. for money and fame and was left broken-hearted and wanting to go back home. The lyrics for "Love Will Keep Us Together" tell of a woman pleading with her man to remain faithful in the face of the…
