not every baby lives, the mother with syphilis in episode one lost her child. It just didn't happen onscreen.

She wrote a very nice essay that sort of explains Fire and Hemlock, but still doesn't totally explain the ending.  ‘The heroic ideal – a personal Odyssey’, The Lion and the Unicorn, v.13:no.1 (June 1989)  links at the bottom of this blog http://twosidestonowhere.bl…

Margot, do we go to the same church? I'm a volunteer childcare provider sometimes and this is exactly what happens . I usually just let the parents complain at me and then do whatever activities I had planned for the kids anyway. And the kids are all thrilled with whatever, because it's better than having to be in

My former church was an unending pit of gossip. I never noticed it as a child, but I grew up and found that it was as drama-free as any other organization and I might as well stop going.

Careful, if you leave it off for too long, he'll be too old to want to emulate you. Older children tend to be less enthusiastic about things their old man is into. And then he'll go to college and discover atheism.

That show rings pretty true to life. I attended a Mainline Protestant church in downtown Portland when I was a youth, and it had a good mix of elderly couples, people forcing their children to go, and the schizophrenic. Cool youth pastor, though. He introduced me to "Jesus Christ Superstar".

AHyperkineticLagomorph : "In the unlikely event that I ever become a father, or in the even less likely event I become a mother, I would just plan to not tell my child about Santa all together. Saying he is real is just lying to a child which, to me, seems like the sort of thing one shouldn't really make a habit of.

Trek in the Park is no joke, it's serious business. Last summer they did the classic episode Space Seed, and in August they're going to perform Journey to Babel in Cathedral Park. It's very popular.

strangerinastrangeloop,  you can see that font in the stationery Sam Shakusky uses at about the :25 second mark, and also on the scout uniform hats, if I'm not mistaken.

I assume it's difficult to find such a man, but I only had sex the one time. We didn't intend to see each other ever again, but he still wanted to kiss me. Since then I decided to be celibate until I found a man who I was actually in love with. And if he truly loved me, he'd understand that I just think tongue

I'm 28-year-old woman, and I don't understand kissing. I've only tried making out a handful of times, but every time it seemed awkward and unnatural, whether I was sober or not. I am worried I'm the only one. It's hard to find a man who is willing to have sex with you without kissing.

There is an entire library of Christian "marriage manuals" out there. The more modern ones are pro masturbation and oral sex.
