Nah the sister didn't give a crap about that store and its owner. And the sweater thing doesn't make sense like you say, sure, but it's just one of those things.

yeah she's stacked

That poor woman. A millenial baby boomer? Money is the root of all meaningless?

Watched 6 of the 8 episodes in one sitting, and it was pretty great. I love naturalistic acting and the dialogue was very good. However, some of the episodes were a bit cliche, ironically, with how fresh it felt otherwise. Does anyone agree?

I didn't like him in the role and to me his different, more hyped-up energy than the rest was felt.

Something occured me: there aren't that many actors who can do both comedy and drama well, and on this show, we have two: Andre Braugher, who was great on Homocide, of course, and Dean Winters, who was just incredible as the devious, always-scheming Ryan O'Reily on Oz. (And who I'm pretty excited about seeing as

You gotta be kidding me, this episode was great! Oh, nevermind, I see you gave it a C+, the highest possible grade. We good.

No, it was funnier for sure. Bjork especially was great - the ladder bit, putting down Cuddy's music, etc.

I agree, and hoped that his comedic chops would still be good to put use as the lead for that one movie that came out not that long ago, Bad Milo. But alas, it was very bad.

They're both meta as fuck.

Welp, I guess it's just me (not literally, but mostly) who this season just isn't doing it for him. I just think it's really light on actual jokes. And for the record, I put the first season on my top 10 or even top 5 of comedic series.

Just wanted to say that Jeff, the asian guy who interrupts at the wedding, stars (and possibly created) a show that's available to watch online called Baby Mentalist, which A) is funny, and B) features - heavily - a baby mentalist.

Yeah, that's a pretty nice runner, and I like that it's analagous to the Childrens Hospital runner of it constantly reminding the viewer that they're in Brazil.

Right, the Too-Good-To-Use items, as a goofy-but-lovable youtube Let's Player called Northernlion puts it. I wonder if the season ends without him ever using one, making your point about his complicitness more pronounced, given how he's sure to ruin even more lives (though it would be pretty funny but also banal and

…I don't get it.

Well, Kirsten Dunst is much bigger too, so I suppose they were asked to gain weight for this role. Though I guess it's possible Dunst gained weight for it and Damon is just his normal self.

I like how carefully you worded your title. "Previously unreleased." Covered all your bases there, AVClub!

Agreed, but I wanted to add that an important factor here in my opinion is the "series fatigue" one. The characters are funny but we know them by now, and watching, say, Jonah being a huge idiot just isn't as funny anymore, even if it is still funny.

Okay, I don't get this at all: Why the HELL is there no review for episode 10, the finale? It was the craziest, darkest, most hilarious piece of teleivision this old boy has seen in years.

Not that honest after all, huh? I hope to christ that "Honestly" doesn't become the new "Literally", but I'm afraid we're already halfway there. Someone should research what it is with people saying something they don't mean in the hopes their audience is "in on it".
