He kind of disappeared after the "fake drugs" gag, didn't he?

I like Frog Hammer. I was sold as soon as they started sizing Richard up from behind that wall.

That staging of MacBeth by those kids is fantastic. I mean they just don't hold anything back.

I love that resigned look on Richard's face when he says that line. It's like he knows that he's been manipulated and tricked and hoodwinked and that they've all tried so hard to irrevocably throw him that he really has no choice but to give in.

Exactly. Daria is crisp, neat, detailed (especially for others' faults), and incredibly reserved; the art and animation really reflect that.

Excellent point, Cookie_Monster.

"Where did all that singing and dancing come from?"
"We've been rehearsing for weeks. Didn't you get the flyer?"

Absolutely.

I guess Jaws was technically the first blockbuster, though I think most modern blockbusters have more in common with Star Wars, in my opinion.

Hear me out: Liam Neeson is the voice of the CGI Beast, as well as Gaston.

Tinsel Town, it's a cautious village
Every film like the one before,
Tinsel Town, tells the same old stories
As the box office says…

No.

Crook: I don't know anything, I swear to God!
Batman: SWEAR TO HIS MULLET!

I mean, it was the greatest episode of the generation of… blah-blah, ever to do a thing on a thing.

I almost always think that whenever I arrive anywhere. It's perfect, no matter where you actually end up.

I think Pilot would bust out a "bubbeleh," for Steven.

Seconded. First time watcher and goddam, if this is weaker than average then I'm hooked.

Mark Waid's "Cargo of Doom" was a lot of fun, very true to the spirit of Stevens' original.

That, or he's living the film version of Naked Lunch.

I see "Dead Man Down" and every single time I think of "Down By Law."
