True, very true. Still…

Firefly was put to great use in Rucka/Brubaker's "Gotham Central," probably because he really plays to that series' strengths. He's just outlandish enough to count as something unusual, but his MO is grounded enough that it's conceivable that the police could take him on.

"Hi, I'm Chris Brown, comin' at you on behalf of RAINN…"

So you're suggesting Chris Brown become a Shark or a Jet?

Nobody loves The Ice Capades more than Chris Brown.

Grammy time doesn't make him hostile, it just gives him motive.

Not to play devil's advocate, but was this episode really promoting cocaine use?

I have a feeling he'd lose that fight. Cohen may be old, but he's spry.

I, too, was waiting for the woman at that online thing to say "Holy shit, I was kidding! I wasn't seriously telling you to do cocaine! That would be so, so, so, so illegal! Right? I mean, Jesus."

Re: your "Secondly." I thought that was the whole point.

As someone who likes this show, having Hannah accurately go through being on cocaine would be a terrible, terrible idea. You'd have people lined up around the block to slap the shit out of her.

I teamed up a little when they introduced mini-Tracy and mini-Jenna (which surprised the hell out of me, because I cry at nothing). It was so perfect.

I rather like American Gods.

I am immediately reminded of the trailer for Footlight Parade which, because I've been to Disney World way too often, I've seen well over 1,000 times, though I've never actually seen the movie.

I don't know. For what it's worth, yours is better.

In other news, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead. Doctors have reported no change in his condition.

It's not for lack of trying, at least on Lily's part.

Evif noitcarter!

Ted does have a sister, but Barney only pretended to bang her, because they both knew it would bug the hell out of Ted (I think).

Or asked the singer Cat Power why she sings?
