Did anyone else notice that in the scene where Joe and Gyp are talking on the beach, that there's somebody in the background yelling all kinds of gay slurs at the people unloading the barrels. ("Come on, ladies, move!" "What are you doin' out there, dancin'?" etc.)

I'll give this to Van Alden, he knows how to let violence speak for itself. He doesn't needlessly talk before an attack, or feel compelled to cap off an act of violence with a quip. He just does it.
