If the show is actually going to move away from the Dawson's Creek jokes, then I'm fine with them overdoing it in this episode as the joke's swan song. Sometimes the only way to kill a joke, is to overkill it. (Hmmm… that feels like it should be a CSI: Miami line)

I don't remember where I read it, but I recall Neil Gaiman saying a positive side-effect of having to distance "Fun Land" from "Disneyland" was that they had to change the mouse ears hat to wolf ears, which help amplify the Little Red Riding Hood thing.

I had no idea about the history of Hector/Lyta/Brute/Glob, except for the general idea of Hector as the Golden Age Sandman. It was a really interesting history lesson, finding out where they came from.
