Chuck and Jimmy's relationship is honestly one of the most interesting I've seen in a TV show.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your story! We all go through different things in life, and we all come to certain realizations in a different way.

The majority of believers and non-believers are just normal, non-assholish people. We disagree on a particular issue — that's all.

From my personal perspective, no I can't understand that. That is not to say that others cannot find meaning, or purpose, in one text, like the Bible, over others.

Pretty much same here. Everyone who's ever asked me about being an atheist has framed the conversation as "what happened to you to lose your faith?"

I always love the musical compositions in these kinds of films.
*Atheist on screen*
—dark tones, screaming in the background, faint notes from the imperial march—
*Christian on screen*
—CEEEEELLLLEBRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON!—

And I didn't mean to imply you believed more than "this person may have existed". Often, though, that is the path the conversation takes.

The issue arises when people equate the notion of Jesus existing to him being a divine figure.

1) I think the majority of the push back now is people just jumping on the train. Plenty of people online would love to be a part of disliking "the most disliked trailer of all time". Are there sexists disliking it? Yes. Are there people who actually didn't like the trailer based on what they saw in terms of narrative
