With Doctor Who, we just can't have nice things.

That, or Red Dward was what came to my mind.

Part of my reason for Archer being last stems from disappointment at being a big fan of Bakula from Quantum Leap and then not really being all that impressed with him as a captain. That extra sting definitely helped make him feel a bit worse off than if it had been with no expectations.

Yeah, it'd be 2001, since Enterprise started right after in the fall.

Cool that we're pretty well aligned on Frances Ha. Also, glad you enjoyed Citi Field, although my one time seeing a game at the new Yankee Stadium was pretty solid. Still, always going to be a Mets fan, as much as they're bound to let me down.

I hope to watch the rest of it, but it's cool to see that you're actually pretty close to how I imagined you looked like in real life. And I do mean that as a complement! And also, congrats on actually writing a play and having it produced at all. This is a very cool thing to have actually done and, if it's something

Kim: the most worthless Star Trek character until Travis Mayweather came in Enterprise.

Fair point. I guess I was just thinking it was still within the Alpha Quandrant as they were able to reach Earth territory in about a year. However, they definitely could've been using faster ships than the Federation was capable of creating.

Very true. I think The Iceman would've been even better had he played it like he was in Premium Rush all over again. One of the best over-the-top villains I've seen.

In a ranking mood right now, so what's everyone's favorite doctor, captain, and first officer?

I'd say the first two directors would actually do a more thoughtful job with the series, especially Blomkamp. Certainly, you wouldn't be at risk of losing the social commentary.

SPOILERS FOR IT
It could've been better if they had actually shown the crew actually being on Earth and showing a bit about what happened to them, but for me, it wasn't too bad. Certainly better than what I've read about the Enterprise finale, which just sounds like utter garbage.

Also, looking at that statement from Berman about integrating the Maquis, did the man understand dramatic tension? I mean, what's the point of making an opposition if they're not going to have actual conflict? I've heard the new Battlestar does well with conflict amongst the crew, although I still need to watch to

Nerdy nitpick: I don't believe that Q takes the Enterprise to the Delta Quandrant to encounter the Borg. I thought it was just meant to be the further outreaches of the Alpha Quandrant. However, if anyone wants to nitpick the nitpicker, I do welcome it, as it's been awhile since I saw Q Who.

When last I wrote here, I revealed that my hospital job was indeed only temporary and will not be extended to be a permanent one. I was also encouraged to apply to other departments in Mount Sinai. Well, that paid off, as I was able to get an interview with the Urology Department for an admin assistant position

@Scrawler2:disqus Do you mean just for Cotilliard or for both? Because, while I liked Cotilliard's performance quite a bit, I really loved Matthias Schoenaerts' performance and, while I knew he was even less likely than Cotilliard, still feel he should've gotten some sort of awards recognition.

My parents did teach me right.

No sarcasm in this, sincerely thanks for pointing that out. I definitely want to be a better writer, so hearing these little quibbles with grammar is genuinely helpful.

Wow, $1 million upfront. That is pretty goddamn audacious, to say the least. Definitely doesn't help his cause of not looking like a complete jackass.

Honestly, given how well I thought he was in Silver Linings Playbook and his current choice in films outside of The Hangover films, I think that's a very true statement.
